Shock And Horror As Body Of A Man Is Found Mauled In Half By Hyena (Graphic Photos)

Early this week the human and wildlife conflict took a dark fatal and disturbing twist.

In Rongai a middle aged man was found mauled by a hyena. At first it was thought to be the work of lions but investigations by KWS officers who got involved show that it was a hyena and refuted claims of a lion mauling.

In a communication to media, the communications manager said the body was found by KWS officers on Tuesday morning and that the attack had occurred on Monday June 26th.

The body of the deceased was taken to the city mortuary as it awaits determination to tell whether the man was actually dead before the attack or if he died as a result of the hyena attack.
