Shapely Grace Msalame Defends Lupita after Being Voted “Worst Dressed”

Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o’s dress to the 2014 Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute gala, which rivals the Oscars in terms of fashion pedigree, continues to receive disapproval from fashion critics in Hollywood.

It’s like they were all waiting for her to slip up on the red carpet and when she kinda did, they were all there jubilating.

“After getting it right for so long Lupita was always going to have a red carpet fail, unfortunately it was on fashion’s biggest night. Some might like the twenties style green number with brown mini-dress underneath but we just don’t think it was the best we’ve seen from the 12 Years A Slave beauty. We know she can look so much better,” wrote one famous Hollywood fashion blogger labeling her the Worst Dressed on the night of arguably the biggest night in fashion.

Anyhow, they are entitled to their opinion.

So, Kiss TV’s curvaceous host, Grace Msalame, has decided to break her silence over the matter saying Lupita still got her game on lock. She opines;

“Alrite then my 2cents on this look is that I actually think she’s working it!! It was a COSTUME Ball! For crying out Loud! The 1920’s Gatsby Look is so Fun! What I like most about @lupitanyongo is how she wears the dress & not the reverse! Only she can rock that so well;-)”
