See What Nazizi Said About Upcoming Artistes…This Will Definitely Get Her Into Trouble

Nazizi Hirji is one of the veteran singers in Kenya who have represented the music industry for a decade and beyond.

Over the years, the once dread-locked beauty has learnt a lot including the fact that old Kenyan music is the best music to date.

The songbird was recently in a tour to the neighbouring Tanzania and had an interview with Clouds FM, a Tanzanian radio station.

During the interview, Nazizi talked much about Kenyan music. She was clearly disturbed by what she says is Kenya lagging behind Tanzania and Uganda in the industry.

Nazizi said that Kenyan corporates do not care about artistes like Ugandan and Tanzanian corporates do and explained this is the reason why Kenyan music is not growing.

In a new twist of events, the singer was quoted saying that no upcoming artiste for the last six years has ever impressed like the old guard do.

She says that it is the veteran singers who represent Kenyan music well, not the new artistes.

This is likely to leave new artistes raging with anger after the singer clearly disrespected them.

Bongo 5, a Tanzanian blog qouted Nazizi saying: No established upcoming artiste in the last 6 years has represented Kenyan music like the veteran singers.
