Tributes continue to pour for radio veteran Rowena Baird
Radio veteran Rowena Baird has died. She died this past weekend, after a long battle with colon cancer.
About a year ago, she opened up about her battle with colon cancer and the effects it had had on those around her.
She started her career at Radio BOP in the mid 1980s and has since then worked in quite a number of radio stations.
I confirming Rowena’s death, SAfm wrote: “SAfm former senior presenter of Morning Talk Rowena Baird has passed away this morning. Rowena Baird started her broadcasting career in the mid 1980s. May her Soul Rest in eternal peace.”
