Tina Turner reveals who donated kidney for her
Tina Turner has undergone a kidney transplant in the past.
In her upcoming autobiography, she talks about how she has suffered from kidney disease. By 2016, her kidneys were at 20 percent and plunging rapidly.
Tina’s husband, Erwin Bach thus decided to donate one of his kidneys to her.
She says he “shocked me by saying that he wanted to give me one of his kidneys.” She was thus “overwhelmed by the enormity of his offer.”
Afterward, Tina felt happy overwhelmed and relieved that they had come through this alive.
Her book is set to be published in Britain and North America later this month. She urges people to sign up donate organs so as to save lives.
