Three years on: Remembering Senzo Meyiwa

Exactly three years ago today, Senzo Meyiwa met his untimely death.

He was shot and killed in Vosloorus during a robbery at his girlfriend’s house, Kelly Khumalo. He was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.

Three years on, no arrests have been made in connection with the soccer player’s murder thus far. His fans have honored his memory. They have also reminded the justice system that his family has not received justice for his death.

According to an article, top investigators were hired to solve Meyiwa’s case. They however classified it as a cold case as police investigations were unsuccessful in getting to the bottom of Meyiwa’s murder.

The private investigators were quick to add that the case went cold because there were too many people working on it.

We hope that justice will prevail soon enough.
