Serena Williams made it to the cover of GQ magazine. In the cover, she is looking bold and beautiful in a black bodysuit.
It is however not what she is wearing or how she looks that got social media users talking. It was the magazine’s cover title.
The title offended hSerena’s fans when the word ‘woman’ in the title is in quotation marks.
WHY IS WOMAN IN QUOTATION MARKS????? WTF??? ⚡️ “GQ cover featuring Serena Williams as Woman of the Year sparks controversy”https://t.co/5sFWmFQfzq

But a clear marketing objective shouldn’t have to be clarified. GQ has sent a confusing message with this cover.
