Popular televangelist Billy Graham dies
Reverend Billy Graham has died at the age of 99. He died just before 8 am at his home in Montreat, North Carolina.
Graham dealt with a lot of illnesses in the last few years. These include prostrate cancer, hydrocephalus and symptoms of Parkinson’s disease.

The late reverend is well known worldwide through his evangelistic work. He did this through a combination of religious conviction, commanding stage presence and shrewd use of radio, television and advanced communication technologies.
Burial details
Graham’s body will arrive at the Billy Graham Training Center in Asheville on Thursday. A private family prayer service will take place on Saturday and a motorcade will transport the body to the Billy Graham headquarters in Charlotte.
The private funeral service will then be held on March 2nd under a tent in front of the Billy Graham Library. This is in tribute to a famous crusade Graham conducted in Los Angeles in 1949, that earned him national prominence.
Graham habitually said, “My home is Heaven. I’m just travelling through this world.”
His survivors are his sister, five children, 19 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
