Nomuzi Mabena staged ‘car crash’ was part of a road safety campaign

Nomuzi Mabena has confirmed that Thursday’s Instagram Live video, which shows her being involved in an apparent car crash, was staged and part of marketing campaign.

Nomuzi, later on, took to Twitter to confirm the alleged accident was part of the Drive Dry campaign.

“I partnered with @Volkswagen and @DriveDry to make a change in 2019. We don’t want to see another year where thousands of lives are lost on our roads because of drinking & driving,” she tweeted.
