Mrs SA Nicole Capper rushed to hospital from Mount Everest
Mrs South Africa, Nicole Capper, suffered from altitude sickness during a Mount Everest expedition. She was rushed to hospital and is now in stable condition.
Nicole was on a mission to raise funds for Rare Diseases South Africa. This is something close to her heart as her daughter suffers from cystic fibrosis.
Mrs SA pageant director was notified about Nicole’s condition this morning.
“We were notified this morning that Nicole was not feeling well after they reached the Everest base camp yesterday and that she was airlifted to hospital. We have been informed that she is in a stable condition and will have updates as more information becomes available,” he said.
At the start of her journey, Nicole made a post on social media about the reason behind it.
“I want to climb every step for those who can’t, take every breath for those who can’t, and experience the outdoors like some can only dream of.”
