Ladysmith Black Mambazo to mark Grammy win in a special way

Ladysmith Black Mambazo won their fifth Grammy Award last month and are expected back in the country on Wednesday. Mayor eThekwini Zandile Gumede will be welcoming the legendary group at the King Shaka International Airport.

To celebrate their win, they will parade through the streets of their hometown, in a rickshaw.

Ladysmith Black Mambazo will be on Durban’s streets on Thursday, and will end at city hall where they will perform for their fans.

Later this month, they will then head to London to perform at the Queen’s birthday celebrations.

Ladysmith Black Mambazo were nominated twice at this year’s Grammy’s. They thus took home the Best World Music award
