John Kani To Be Honored At The Sotigui Awards

Actor Dr. John Kani is set to receive the Sotigui of Honor award at the Sotigui awards to be held in Burkina Faso.

The Minister of Arts and Culture Nathi Mthethwa thus took to Twitter to congratulate Dr. Kani.

“Congratulations to legendary Actor & Playwright @JohnKani2, as he travels to Burkina Faso to attend the prestigious ceremony of the Sotigui Awards where he will be awarded the Sotigui of Honour for this tremendous contribution to the African creative industry. Sithi halala Baba! [sic]”
