Grammy award winner Jill Scott and husband Mike Dobson call it quits

Musician Jill Scott and husband Mike Dobson have filed for a divorce. This comes just 15 months after they got married.

Allegations

The reason for divorce was cited as “irreconcilable differences” and “inappropriate marital conduct”.

Mike allegedly called Jill an evil woman saying, “I’m telling you. It’s like what Jill Scott wants, Jill Scott gets.

“People are in her ear, and if someone comes in to challenge the dumb shit, they made me be the bad guy and that got me outta there.”

He said that Jill has had issues.

“There are no men in that family, there are only women. And when a man comes in, it’s like a challenge.”

Jill is yet to comment on the separation and Mike’s comments. Jill was married to Lyzel Williams between 2001 and 2007. She then got engaged to Lil’ John Roberts with whom they have an eight year old son.

The divorce was filed on 15th September.
