Ellen Page is a married woman (Details)

Ellen Page has married her partner, Emma Portner.

She took to social media to share the news, with photos of their wedding bands and themselves too.

Ellen wrote: “Can’t believe I get to call this extraordinary woman my wife.”

Portner, a dancer, shared the same pictures with another photo of her kissing Page’s hand while they are hugging.

It is however not clear when the two got married.

Page and Portner went public with their romance six months ago, when they were spotted kissing outside a café in Los Angeles. This came after Page’s split from ex-girlfriend Samantha Thomas.

Page came out in 2014, when she addressed a conference on teenage homosexuality.

She was nominated for an Oscar for Juno in 2008. She has also starred in films such as X-Men: Days of Future Past, Inception and The Reboot of Flatliners.

Emma Portner

Portner on the other hand, manages and directs her own contemporary dance company. In 2012, she was named young choreographer of the year by American Dance Awards.
