Ellen DeGeneres gets best gift from wife (Video)
Ellen DeGeneres celebrated her 60th birthday in style. Her special day was filled with A-listers.
The day time talk show host celebrated her birthday a week plus ago, but is still celebrating it like it was yesterday.
Ellen’s birthday special included a bunch of A-list celebrities, alongside her wife Portia de Rossi.
Portia gifted her wife Ellen with her own namesake gorilla conservation centre.
“It’s your 60th birthday and this gift had to be really special and it had to represent who you are and what you really care about,” Portia told Ellen.
“Not just now, but what you’ve always cared about. What you were influenced by and what has made you the amazing person that you are today. So, I combined that and questions when we first met like who’s your idol? And what would you do if you weren’t a talk show host?”
Portia set up a foundation called The Ellen DeGeneres Wildlife Fund which will enable Ellen to raise funds and awareness for any wildlife initiative she wants to.
The gift got Ellen in tears.
