Dumi Mkokstad took home one of the biggest prizes this year at the just concluded Crown Gospel Awards.
His hit track Ulwandle, earned him the Best Gospel Song award.
Prior to the release of the results, he had encouraged fans to vote right up to the time the voting lines were closed. It indeed paid off as he has received 110,000 votes.
However, not everyone was happy with his win. Some went ahead to point that since 2015, he has been winning awards. That of Best Gospel Song, and Best Praise Song last year. They went on to suggest that the awards were biased.
