Dove faces criticism for racist post
Personal care and beauty products company Dove is being called out for its racist post.They posted an advert on their Facebook page on Sunday which caused uproar from people.
In the advert you can see a black woman taking off a brown t shirt with a white woman being revealed in the last image.
The advert was supposed to represent the beauty of diversity.
Arts and Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa weighed on the issue , saying he condemned the campaign and noted it was not the first time the company was being accused of racism.

Dove issued a public apology stating :
“Dove committed to representing the beauty of diversity. In an image we posted this week, we missed the mark in thoughtfully representing women of color and we deeply regret the offense that it has caused.
“The feedback that has been shared is important to us and we’ll use it to guide us in the future.”
