Disgruntled crowds express anger over failed SABC 1 auditions
Last week, SABC 1 was holding auditions for an unnamed drama series set to air on the channel.
The first auditions took place in KZN, and the second were to be held in Rosebank, Gauteng.
However, as hopefuls lined up to take part in the auditions, they learned that they had been cancelled. They expressed their anger towards SABC 1 for inconveniencing them. Some even went ahead to tweet and post videos of the situation on the ground.
Complaints
@Official_SABC1 auditions! Woooooow guys! Thanks for scamming us with fake open auditions. You are truly pushing us to withdrawing our support. You deserve failure. pic.twitter.com/uBIQd6y6v4

What's happening in Rosebank at the auditions that were cancelled should be a lesson to producers to stop playing with aspiring performers' dreams and yearning for opportunities.
Respect people's time & hopes. Somebody messed up here and ought to take responsibility.
