Demi Leigh takes as a through her Miss Universe journey

It’s almost a year since Demi was crowned as the Miss Universe.

Sharing footage from the winning night on Instagram, Demi-Leigh wrote:

On this day a year ago my life changed forever. What a defining and life changing moment it was being crowned Miss Universe 2017. Forever grateful to everyone who believed in me and my dreams just as much as I did. South Africa, thank you for trusting me to represent you. I’m still in awe of God’s grace and the surprises he blesses us with. Jeremiah 29:11. ❤️ This one is for my biggest motivation and inspiration in my life, my little sister. I love you

On 17 December Demi-Leigh will hand over the crown to her successor at the 67th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand.
