Chante Moore jets into the country
Chante Moore is in South Africa.
The Grammy award nominated American singer was received by the Daily Sun yesterday.
“I love being here, and I wish I could see even more of the country while I’m here,” she said.
The songstress rose to fame in the 1990s, when she established herself as an R&B singer.
She is also a television personality, having involved herself with the R&B Divas Los Angeles, for three seasons until its cancellation.
Chante is set to perform at the Mangaung African Cultural Festival in Bloemfontein, today.
Other artists sharing the stage with her are Lire, Angelique Kidjo, Amanda Black and Thandiswa Mazwai.
The Divas Concert will take place at The Dome, Old Grey Sports Ground from 6.30 pm, with tickets going at R240.
