Cassper Nyovest to Debut FIFA Worldcup anthem (Details)

SOUTH AFRICAN MEGA RAPPER  CASSPER NYOVEST,WILL  DEBUT THE SOUTH AFRICAN VERSION OF THE OFFICIAL COCA-COLA FIFA WORLD CUP™ ANTHEM “COLOURS”,THIS WEEKEND

The track he features on with global hitmaker, Jason Derulo, will be released worldwide, in celebration of the world’s biggest football tournament, on March 16th.

To extend the collaborations across the world, Coca-Cola invited local artists from the African continent including South Africa, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Mozambique and Ethiopia to collaborate with Jason Derulo to create uniquely African anthems for each of their countries.

In South Africa, multi-award-winning artist, Refiloe Phoolo, better known as Cassper Nyovest, was selected to represent the country on a global stage. The anthem celebrates all the vibrancy and excitement that comes with the arrival of the world’s biggest football tournament.

Cassper Nyovest touched down from Mozambique where he was part of the FIFA World Cup™ Trophy Tour which now continues onto Soweto and Cape Town. Coca-Cola will host fans for a FIFA World Cup™ Trophy Tour experience at Maponya Mall in Soweto on Friday 2nd March.

Some of the exciting activities that fans can expect at the event include: Seeing the FIFA World Cup™ Trophy, a guest appearance by Cassper himself, FIFA 18 gaming activities, fans can interact with Zabivaka the official World Cup 2018 Mascot, and lots more entertainment.

To continue celebrating all the vibrancy and excitement, the FIFA World Cup™ Trophy Tour will travel to Cape Town.

Coca-Cola is inviting fans to see the real trophy and be part of a complimentary Coca-Cola concert with Cassper Nyovest at the PPC Newlands Cricket Ground on Saturday 3 March, where Cassper will be performing the Coca-Cola FIFA World Cup anthem for the very first time.
