Bonang Matheba’s tax fraud case postponed
Media personality Bonang Matheba has once again had her tax fraud case postponed. This happened yesterday at the Commercial Crimes Court, in Johannesburg.
Appearing in court, she dressed down in blue jeans and a black blazer.
Bonang’s legal team requested the postponement, to finalise its representations. The state, has requested the representations at least three days before the next court date.
Therefore, the team needs to have completed the representations by the 22nd of November.
Davin Phillips, her manager, says she has the right team in place to ensure that she complies as she’s a law-abiding citizen and wants to work towards finalising the matter.
Bonang is thus expected to be back in court on the 27th of November.
She faces charges of evading personal taxes from 2007-2017, and company tax from 2014-2017.
