Becoming Mrs Jones set to make debut
The star studded wedding affair has put the generally private television star Minnie Dlamini, in the limelight.
The three part series Becoming Mrs Jones, is set to premiere in October 13th on DStv’s Vuzu Amp.
The series comes following her nuptial celebrations that culminated about a week ago at the Lourensford Wine Estate, when she and her husband Quinton Jones tied the knot.
The traditional party was held in Durban, in July.
“Becoming Mrs Jones is incredibly personal and the most transparent I have been in my career. I’m excited for people to see me in my new role as executive producer. It is the kind of work I intend on making moving forward in the local entertainment industry.
Mostly, I’m excited to show everyone a true and authentic love story,” she said.
Minnie finally spoke on the details of her wedding.
Fashion couturier Gert-Johan Coetzee was entrusted to design her dreamy gown and the reception dress.
Her whole dress was encrusted with crystals.
“I gave Gert the brief, which was to look like a fairytale princess.
It has always been my dream to look like a Disney princess, and he knocked it out of the park,” she said.
“There were a few hiccups but at the end everything worked out like the fairytale I dreamed of.”
“The traditional wedding was very African, and obviously the white wedding was Western. But fundamentally, the same amount of love was shown in each, making both the happiest days of my life.”
