Andy Maqo joins 947 team

947 took to social media to announce that Andy Maqo will be joining the family. This will be on weekdays for the 0900hrs to 1200hrs slot.

“Ladies and gentlemen, we have some INCREDIBLY EXCITING NEWS! Give a big Joburg welcome to a brand new voice on 947! Welcome, @Andy_Maqo! Andy joins us from Cape Town and will be keeping you company every weekday at 9AM! [sic]” the post reads.

Andy was previously at Cape Town’s KFM.

She also shared the big news on her Instagram account writing: “Talk about a way to kickstart the year. I am proud to announce (always wanted to say that) that I have officially joined the @947joburg family!!!”

For her, working at the station has always been a dream of hers.
