Nomzamo Mbatha, Somizi and others bag 2019 Kids’ Choice Awards nominations

At a press briefing in Johannesburg, the 2019 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards nominees were announced.

Some of the celebrities who have bagged nominations are Nomzamo Mbatha, AKA, Siya  Kolisi, kagiso Rabada and Somizi in the Favorite South African Star category. Nigerian star Davido has been nominated in the Favourite Global Music Star group.

Nomzamo spoke about the nomination in a statement showing her excitement.

“To be seen and voted for as one of the top 5 by the kids of South Africa, just melts my heart. As it’s a validation of what I do. The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards is all about fun and celebration. The biggest kid’s party in the world. It’s ‘un-adult-terated’ fun, while honouring kids’ opinions, and taps into the kid in all of us.”

The awards will air on Nickelodeon and Nick Toons on Sunday the 24th of March, 2019.
