Matwetwe breaks box office records

Matwetwe made over 900 thousand in its first three days after being released.

Directed, written and produced by Lediga, with a fresh-faced cast led by Tebatso Mashishi and Sibusiso Khwinana has grossed over 2 million rands in its second week at box office.

This is a first for a locally produced movie, which is now sitting at number three on the charts behind international films Aquaman and Bohemian Rhapsody.
