Soweto Choir Earns Grammy Award Nomination

The Soweto Gospel Choir has been nominated for a 2019 Grammy Award. This is in the World Music Album category.

Their nomination will see them contest for the crown with other artists such as Bombino, Fatoumata Diawara and others.

The gospel choir has previously won two Grammys in 2007 and 2008, in the Best Traditional World Music Album category.

The ceremony will take place on the 10th of February, 2019.
