Miss Soweto 2018 Announced

It was all pomp and color at the Miss Soweto 2018 celebration that took place at the Soweto Theatre. The annual 39th ceremony saw 23-year-old Nokukhanya Kunene from Protea Glen, take home the title.

She is currently a student in her final year at the University of Johannesburg. She is pursuing a degree in Linguistics and Sociology.

As her prize package, Nokukhanya walked away with more than R350,000, a R100,000 cash prize. She has also received an opportunity to be the Brand Ambassador of White Star.

The first princess title went to Nomfanelo Mabona, while the second went to Zandile Lebuso.
