New 2017 Miss South Africa crowned

The new Miss South Africa 2017 has been crowned. It is none other than the first princess, Adè van Heerden.

Responsibilities

After Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters took home the Miss Universe crown, she had to let go of her Miss South Africa one. This is because she would be unable to fulfill her duties.

Adè will now take over Demi-Leigh’s Miss South Africa responsibilities.

Adè was in the Miss World top 10. She won the Beauty with a purpose prize at the beauty pageant that was held in China in November 18th.

Her first job was to talk to Jacaranda FM host and former Miss South Africa, Liesl Laurie.
