Basetsana and Romeo Kumalo have finally broken their silence in regard to a social media allegation about their marriage.
They are nowtaking legal action against an author who spread rumors that they had appeared in a gay sex tape.
In a joint statement, Basetsana and Romeo term the allegations as false and defamatory. For them, the allegations have caused them personal, emotional and professional harm, and even affected their children.
They went ahead to give a reason for remaining silent at the beginning.
The couple has now laid criminal charges and applied for protection orders.
