Rose Muhando Finally Reveals Why She Procured An Abortion

Late last year, the Tanzanian gospel songbird was on the headlines after word went round that she had procured an abortion and she was trailed by Tanzanian police to face charges related to the offense.

And as the dust on this unfortunate incident settles down, the celebrated songbird has finally spoken about the abortion and reasons behind it.

Rose acknowledges that indeed she was pregnant and procured an abortion but not because of what many media houses reported.

The singer has said that she aborted because of healthy conditions and according to her doctor’s advice. Rose says that while pregnant, she developed a strange sickness where her legs could swell and this threatened her life.

Her doctor advised her to abort to save her life, effectively terminating the life of the unborn child.

The singer has refuted claims that she was arrested and questioned over the same and says that the authorities knew what was happening at the time.

She says she is perplexed by the rumour many media houses spread, saying it has only served to plunge her family into anguish and agony as people still talk ill of them.

The mother of three was speaking to Kenya’s The Nairobian as she visited the country.
