Touts however much they try to work out a new image look and rebrand their career always get hard done by one of their many bad apples.

The scandals are many and after much public outcry, the previously helpless passengers are finding strength in their numbers. It is now a common scene to see them ganging up against bully touts and after a couple of such incidents, the madness seemed to have stopped. Only that some guys need firsthand experience.

Yesterday, a tout in an Eastlands matatu got in a heated argument with one of the lady passengers. As the usual script goes, the tout began abusing the lady with obscenities before coming back to punish her by slapping her.

Male passengers angered by his impunity descended upon him with kicks and blows and in a short while he was begging for dear life. I guess it will take many more such incidents to at least drive some sense of civility in these touts. Here is the video of the act as caught on camera
