When she wrote to lament the story of the state of the roads in her area Umoja,

Monique Mwangi thought it was in good faith despite the fact that she criticized her MP’s choices. What she got instead was a personal and vile attack from the Embakasi West MP George Theuri who literally hit her under the belt. This is what Monique wrote

“Our MP is incompetent. We have bad roads and he is doing boxing and eating competitions. Priorities zake ni wrong. Does he even understand his duties ama no swag tu?? Hata parliament hajawai ongea kitu,”

And the response she got from the MP was
