Ringtone Accused of Maliciously Crashing into a Lawyer’s Car Following Land Grabbing Drama in His Runda Home

The serenity in the leafy suburbs of Runda was interrupted by a commotion in Ringtone’s compound.

This was over a house Ringtone lives in. According to a family lawyer the house belongs to a foreigner who passed away and left it to a family that has been living for 35 years now.

The family through one of their relatives identified as Reuben sought Ringtone’s help. But after 4 months Ringtone allegedly took control of the premise. Accompanied by Reuben, Ringtone is said to have come with a welding machine and vandalized the entire building.

On his part, Ringtone said” I don’t want to be involved in the controversy over that land. I’ve been living in that house for the last 2 years and paying rent and the owner has not asked me to leave.”

The lawyer then went on to reveal that when they attempted to retrieve Mzee Reuben’s items in the house, Ringtone maliciously rammed into his vehicle and other vehicles parked in the driveway with a 4 X 4.

Ringtone claimed innocence on this accusation saying that his house was invaded by the lawyer and his accomplices. And so his workers screamed and alerted the neighbours who came with the police and they are the ones who damaged the car.
