Lucy Kibaki passed on yesterday while receiving specialized treatment at Bupa Cromwell Hospital in London, UK.

Kenyans have been sharing the most memorable moments of the former first lady they haven’t forgotten.

One of the most talked about Lucy Kibaki’s moment is the incident in 2009 where Kibaki was forced to address the nation to make it crystal clear that Lucy Kibaki was his one and ONLY wife.

This was after  media reports claimed that Kibaki had married current Othaya MP, Mary Wambui, under customary law.

Kibaki accompanied by a furious Lucy Kibaki held the press conference to bury claims that he had a second wife.
