Thought former Prime Minister would settle in Bondo when he retires? No, Rao plans to spend his time ona s mall island lying in Winam Gulf of Lake Victoria.

Certainly Raila Odinga won’t be in politics forever, he plans to retire. And he’s has shed light on where and how he plans to enjoy time in his retirement.

Though he originally comes from the great Siaya Kababa County, Tinga plans to settle in Luo capital of Kisumu when he retires.

Forget his mansion in Bondo, Raila owns a multimillion palatial house in the rich Riat Hills which overlooks the Lakeside City of Kisumu.

But it seems Jakom won’t be settling in Riat, he has his eyes set on an Island which is not far away from Kisumu City.

In an Interview with Yvonne Aoll, Baba as he is referred to by his followers, revealed he looked forward to be a neighbor to Kisumu Town West MP, Hon. John Olago Aluoch.

Raila told Aoll he won’t settle far from the luxurious Maboko Island explaining his late son, Fidel Odinga also owned a parcel of land nearby.

“I’ve already told Mheshimiwa Olago I’ll be happy to be his neighbor. Somewhere around here, not too far from Maboko Island. Fidel had a piece of land nearby, I’ll be doing the same. I’ll definitely retire around here. It’s a great area to have some investment. Mheshimiwa Olago has done very well.” Raila told Yvonne Aoll.
