Raila, Mudavadi and Karua Among Leaders Attending Jacob Juma’s Requiem Mass As Funeral Program Is Released
After weeks of sorrow, anger, suspicion and many unanswered questions, the body of slain businessman Jacob Juma is finally on its way to the resting place in the Bungoma.
Burial plans have been released and the program which starts today is already underway with a requiem mass which is being held at the All Saints Cathedral from 10 am. After the service the body will be taken to Uhuru Park for public viewing from where his body will be taken to his home in Karen for a night vigil.
On Friday the funeral procession will leave towards Kakamega Airstrip at 9 am from where it will be taken to Masinde Muliro gardens for public viewing. On the same day the body will leave for Bungoma and there it will be set at Kanduyi Stadium and then the funeral procession will make its way to the burial venue in his home village at Mungore Village in Bumula Constituency.
Finally on Saturday, he will be laid to rest at his home village in Mungore Village Bumula Constituency with the service starting from 9.am. Already various leaders are present at the mass, including CORD leader Raila Odinga. Others are Martha Karua and Musalia Mudavadi.
