President Uhuru Ends Hostilities With Kisii MCA Who Advised Him To Stop Smoking Bhang (Photos)

Like they say, there are no permanent enemies in politics. President Uhuru opened State House’s gates to an unexpected guest.

What’s up with President Uhuru inviting his fiercest critics to his house and rubbing shoulders with them?

Just the other day, Robert Alai was sitting with Uhuru in State House to the amazement of both Jubilee and Cord fanatics.

Baba Ngina was at it again yesterday; Kiogoro MCA Samuel Onkwani was among MCAs that paid President Uhuru a visit at State House.

Mr. Onkwani is best remembered for his controversial message to the commander in chief way back in 2013. The Kiogoro MCA caused a stir when he told a public gathering; “Those close to President Uhuru Kenyatta should advise him to stop smoking bhang.” Onkwani was taken to court where he was charged for undermining the presidency.

But in a new twist of events, Uhuru ended his beef with the MCA from Kisii County. Dennis Itumbi reported that the president forgave Mr. Onkwani.

“I forgive you. “Let bygones be bygones.” Itumbi quoted president Uhuru as saying.

While some term Uhuru reaching out to his ‘enemies’ is mere gimmicks, others believe it’s a well calculated move aimed at making inroads into regions perceived as opposition strongholds.
