‘Prepare Your Family For Your Death’ Central Kenya Politician Told

A central Kenya politician is currently fearing for his life after he received three letters which a chilling message of death.

The Kirinyaga based politician who last year failed in his attempt to become an MP for Kirinyaga Central during last general elections. However, he has decided to run as an MCA this time round and he had announced the decision just a couple of weeks before the threats.

Speaking to the Nation, the evidently shaken Eric Katani Giture said the people had followed him up to his home in Ruiru where they dropped the three letters in Kikuyu which contained the threats. The threats included asking him to psychologically prepare his family for the receiving of his body parts, and also to decide where to bury his body.

The authors of the letters accused him of having used everything in his powers to get the youth unemployed and deny them jobs. He was dared to go for the governorship or the Senate seat if he though himself man enough. The matter is being investigated by the police.
