Pregnant Woman Beaten And Robbed In Broad Daylight While In Labor (Photos)

Some people are just too cruel.

A pregnant woman suffered what is possibly the worst birth experience after she was beaten and robbed by a thug in broad daylight.40 year old Patience Chukwu was rushing to Homerton Hospital in Hackney,United Kingdom when she leaned against a wall to answer a phone from her sister.

A man on a bike sped by and tried to snatch her phone and she grabbed his jumper and shouted: ‘Please give me the phone. I am in labour – I need to contact my family. But he was hitting me. He really wanted to hit my stomach. I was really, really big so he could see I was pregnant.” Patience said while speaking to the Gazette.

The man then resorted to violence and tried to hit her stomach but she bent forward to protect the baby but ended up being punched in the face thrice.

Following the brutal attack, Patience was rushed to hospital and since the doctors couldn’t feel the heartbeat of the unborn child, they induced birth.

After the birth, her young son Kamsi had a seizure and had to stay in hospital as he was in critical condition. 8 weeks later Kamsi is in hospital but still suffers seizures following the attack.
