Power Couple Nameless & Wahu Share Memories of Late E-Sir
Last Sunday, it was exactly 11 years since Kenya’s legendary hip-hop artist, E-Sir, left us. However, his memories are still fresh thanks to his hits that continue to rule the airwaves. Kenyan power couple, Wahu and Nameless have each eulogized the Moss Mosshit-maker.
Wahu recalled her last moment with E-Sir as he and Nameless prepared to leave for Nakuru ahead of their performance.
“Oh my God….its 11 years to the day since you left us. I remember that day as if it was yesterday…saying bye to you guys at mobil msa road before your road trip to Nakuru…hearing how you brought the house down there…and then that fateful phonecall the following day. We miss you Esir. We remember you with love, and appreciate your contribution to the Kenyan music industry. Continue to rest in peace my brother.”
Nameless’s message was inclined towards the projects he did with E-Sir, Boomba Train, as he explained the inspiration behind the hit. He however admits that Moss Moss is his all-time favourite E-Sir track.
“Boomba Train was one track we did with E-SIR to help us deal with industry challenges at the time. Things were just very thick and he always wanted to bring a good feel to every situation, always focusing on the positive. All his tracks were awesome but the one i liked the most was Moss Moss….really great.”
