Popular Hip Hop Artist Affected by Drugs Leaves Rehab

Last year, we reported how one of the most gifted hiphop rappers, Sokoro, was wasting away due to drugs and completely lost focus of his music career.

5 months down the line, Sokoro is ready to leave rehab where he had been admitted.

On Thursday afternoon, he was hosted by celebrated radio host, Gates, of Pwani FM where he revealed that he’s now reformed and just about to leave rehab and get back into music.

“Mimi niko pouwa na shukuru Mungu sana…” said Sokoro.

According to his doctors, Sokoro who is on his last dose has started showing some signs of recovery and is expected to have fully recovered after finishing the dose.

“Right now he is doing very well compared to how he was earlier, he has started showing some good signs like interacting with others freely” reveals John Owiye, the Manager of Good Hope Rehab Centre based in Mtito Andei.
