Poor Thing! Citizen TV Eye Candy Actor Goes Through A Dreadful Experience In Nigeria

Pascal Tokodi is a popular face on Citizen TV’s Makutano Junction. He’s also representing Kenya in Africa’s most thrilling reality karaoke competition, TECNO Own The Stage where Kes 2.5 million is the ultimate prize.

With just over a week to the February 7 Grand Finale of the maiden season of TECNO Own The Stage, you cannot afford to miss the next episode of Africa’s first televised karaoke show, especially after the judges surprisingly refused to send any of the contestants home last time around.

Expectations were high in Episode 11 that at least one of Shaapera, Nandy, Sikin and Pascal would be heading home. But fortunately for them, the judges – Bien, M.I. and Yemi – were yet again in a good mood as they opted not to eliminate anyone.

Afterwards, you could virtually see the bewilderment on Vimbai’s face especially after the judges had made Pascal and Sikin go through the dreadful process of performing twice in one night in order to decide who among both Kenyans would be making an exit from the show.

With the judges’ decision though it means all four contestants are still in contention for the grand prize of $25,000, a recording deal, and a brand new TECNO Phantom 5 smartphone, and will take to the stage in Episode 12 where, according to sources close to the show’s producers, they will strictly be performing indigenous African songs.

So maybe we might just get to see the contestants perform classic tunes from some of Africa’s biggest names such as FelaAnikulapo-Kuti, YoussouN’Dour, Salif Keita, Miriam Makeba, Brenda Fassie, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Vanessa Mdee, DaudiKabaka or Suzanna Owiyo.

Viewers should also expect award-winning Nigerian artiste, Adekunle Gold, to make a guest appearance in Episode 12 and join the growing list of superstars to have graced TECNO Own The Stage.

But more importantly, especially with the February 7 Grand Finale just around the corner, someone will definitely be saying bye-bye to the show this time around. The only question is who will the judges pick? Will it be Shaapera, Nandy, Sikin or Pascal?

So mark the date and time on your calendar, follow the contest on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and don’t miss Episode 12 on the various Africa Magic channels and on Masha Magic East. Broadcast times are as follows:

Africa Magic Showcase – Sundays at 19:00 CAT

Africa Magic Urban – Sundays at 21:00 CAT

Africa Magic Family – Wednesdays at 19:00 CAT

Masha Magic East – Tuesdays at 18:30 CAT.
