PHOTOS: Construction of Machawood (Machakos’ Hollywood) Already Underway
In October 2013, Machakos County Governor, Dr. Alfred Mutua unveiled the county’s own Hollywood, Machawood. Machakos Entertainment Centre for Film, Media, Music and the Arts- is expected to make Machakos County the next Holywood.
Mutua, being a man of his own word, has already started work on the 50 acres of land set aside for the Machawood initiative.
