Photo: Ruhila Adatia’s Last Moments Alive

In media circles, a friendly smile and lovely voice is missing. To try to fill that emptiness, friends, family and acquaintances are paying tribute to mourn the life and loss of Radio Africa Group entertainment queen Ruhila Adatia-Sood. She was taken from their lives Saturday afternoon in the hands of terrorists who attacked the Westgate Shopping Mall.

It’s still hard to believe she’s not with us anymore as just a few hours before her death she was posting photos on Instagram;

Ruhila was at the parking lot of the upscale mall for Sungold Sunrice Superchef, a cooking competition sponsored by the rice brand and East FM, which she was hosting. She posted a total of eight photos on Instagram; with her fans, with her colleagues, the chefs and some of the lucky winners who took home bags of rice.

Little did we know that was her last activity on social media.

Ruhila was taken from us yesterday. She left us so quickly; we never had time to process the news of her death, never mind deal with her passing.

Ruhila will be greatly missed. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
