She was the crème de la crème of Nollywood. But Mama G has ditched the fame, flair and glamour of showbiz to give her life to Christ.
You will no longer be seeing Mama G in any new Nigerian movie as she has ditched her lucrative acting career to become a fulltime evangelist.
Mama G caused a buzz when she shared her experience in salvation at a crusade held in Imo State, Nigeria.
She said the Holy Spirit warned her of her dressing and appearance when she fasted for 51days. Mama G revealed God told her to cut her dreadlocks, stop wearing jewelry and trousers and putting on makeup as they will make her go to hell.
The Lord further told her she will be a voice for Him all over the world, He showed her how people’s attention will be channeled from her image in Nollywood to gospel, and how she would have gone to hell if she had died on December 31st 2015. (According to her testimony)
Mama G asked the Holy Spirit how she will survive now that she quit Nollywood (she used earn an average of 1.5 million naira or Kes 758,421 a week) and the Lord told her He will provide for her just like He did for the Israelites in the desert during their exodus from Egypt.
