Oliver Mtukudzi Coming to Kenya. To Perform with Suzanna Owiyo

Suzanna Owiyo will be performing with African music legend, Oliver Mtukudzi, in Nairobi this week. The renown African singers will hold a show on Thursday, 6th December at the Safari Park Hotel courtesy of Plan International.

In October, Owiyo, Mtukudzi and South African singer, Yvonne Chaka Chaka released a song titled Because I Am A Girl for a campaign by Plan International in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The Because I Am A Girl campaign seeks to address the issue of gender discrimination by promoting girl child rights by seeking to bring millions out of poverty. This is also primarily geared at girls in developing countries and promotes avenues such as education, family planning and legal rights.
