Octopizzo is one of Kenya’s leading hiphop icons and with good reason. He has some sick lyrics and his delivery is something Kenyans hadn’t seen before. And to top that, Octopizzo is a showman. He is an entertainer. All of his shows are usually exciting.

But he has one very huge flaw. Octo doesn’t like Nigerian music! Can you imagine the horror with which I read an interview he granted Grace Kerongo only for him to say something as abominable as that?

How can such a talented chap not rate Naija music high? He is just too.. No! How can someone as talented as Octo not rate hiphop stars of note such as Jesse Jagz or M.I or Phyno or Ice prince. Mr. B.E.T himself ice prince!

The statement he gave was, “I am njmot a fan of Nigerian music. Not at all. But like they say, if you can’t beat them, join them.”
