NTV’s Larry Madowo ‘Writes’ to CNN for a Job
On Monday morning, CNN pulled the plug on the Piers Morgan Live 3 years after the show replaced Larry King Live. Apparently, Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan, known professionally as Piers Morgan, has seen the ratings for Piers Morgan Live hit some new lows, drawing a fraction of viewers compared with competitors at Fox News and MSNBC.
And now, NTV’s business and technology anchor, Larry Madowo, seems to have set his eyes on filling the humongous gap left by Morgan. Earlier yesterday, Larry who describes himself as a ‘JourNerdist’, wrote a ‘memo’ to CNN telling them why he’s better placed to replace Morgan who didn’t seem to like America very much (and Americans were more than willing to return the favour).

Tweeting from Barcelona where he is on a work-related trip, Larry said;
“Memo to CNN: A Kenyan accent is better than a Brit’s :-)”
This is after the Digital Media Manager at Code Red prodded him (and #TheTrend) to crossover to the other side of the Atlantic Ocean.
Memo to CNN: A Kenyan accent is better than a Brit’s 🙂 RT @iainfelipe: @LarryMadowo HAHA, how about you and #theTrend cross the Atlantic?
