NTV’s Dennis Okari Threatened by The Rogue Pastors He Exposed

Last Sunday, NTV aired an eye-opening expose by its Senior Investigative & Crime Reporter, Dennis Okari. “Seeds of Sin” had Twitter buzzing as ‘tweeps’ lauded the authoritative reporter for the commendable job; he really pulled it off as he posed as a preacher complete with a translator to boot!

Okari exposed the tricks used by rogue pastors to fleece money from their gullible congregation in the name of ‘planting seeds’. The expose named and shamed some of the biggest names in televangelism among them ‘Prophetess’ Nduta, ‘Apostle James Maina Ng’ang’a, Bishop Dr Prophet Thomas Wahome of Helicopter Ministries and Pastor Kanyari (Betty Bayo’s husband and ‘Prophetess’ Nduta’s son).

The expose set tongues wagging and even formed the basis of discussion on Maina and King’ang’i in The Morning on Classic 105.

As expected, the expose has raffled feathers among pastors whose trade is being interfered with. Speaking exclusively to Ghafla! Okari confirmed that he has been threatened but facts are facts.

“I’ve received threats but facts and truths are stubborn things”, divulged Okari.
